Our founder, Eamon McPartlin met with a number of Government Ministers, TD’s and Senators at the new Wayfinding Centre Preview Event in Dublin earlier this year. Eamon is a member of the Inclusion Access Advisory Group at the Centre and got the opportunity on the day to share the challenges faced by him when travelling by air and how the centre can bring about change for more inclusive travel across all modes of transport.
Eamon got to chat directly to Minister of State for Disability, Anne Rabbitte TD on the lack of support and services for those living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in Ireland. Minister Rabbitte was not aware of how common FND is and committed to holding a dedicated meeting with FND Ireland in the near future.
