Thanks to Micheál Carrigy TD for hosting our FND Awareness Event at Leinster House and and thanks to Senator Paraic Brady and Ciana O’Sullivan, Neurological Alliance of Ireland for their help on the day. Our founder, Eamon McPartlin and our co-founders Dr Aoife Aoife Laffan and Catherine Cummins spoke on the day.
We really appreciate the Minister of Health Jennifer Carrol McNeil taking time to call by our event and to all Oireachtas members and Department officials who attended. We also thank all those living with FND who reached our to their local TD and Senator to ask them attend our event.
With the support of the Oireachtas, the Department of Health and the HSE we can work together to develop the first FND Clinic in the country in St James’s Hospital and put in place a FND pathway for FND services countrywide.
